The School Calendar Has Changed: The only remaining inservice day is March 9, 2006. Students will be dismissed early that day.
MSN Question of the Month: How do you get your child to go to bed and stay asleep? Answers include thus far:
We use medication, a muscle relaxer, Vistaril.
Follow a routine chart on the fridge, using sleep sounds or classical music.
After dinner, he gets a nice warm bath, I read her/him a story and she/he goes to sleep. (sometimes I lay down with them)
Watches cartoons and falls asleep in bed.
So busy during the school day that she/he just falls asleep after dinner.
I give them a book to read every night and put them to bed at a regular time.
We talk about the events of the day, go to the bathroom, change clothes and go to bed.
Full stomach and a hot bath.
Playing with the family, eat all the dinner, make sure the child is dry or go for a long drive.
Tell them it is time for bed, they can watch ½ hour tape.
I follow a strict schedule during the week and give in a little on Friday & Saturday.
